The National Capital Region’s top winter golf destinations is the Ottawa Athletic Club’s 12,000 sq.ft. PGA of Canada approved Winter Golf School. Members will work with some of Canada’s best PGA professionals, including 2014 and 2016 Ottawa PGA Teacher of the Year, Colin Orr, and have full access to teaching aids including leading edge video and computer analysis.

SuperSpeed Clinics

The SuperSpeed Golf Clinic is a series of Overspeed training (a proven method for increasing swing speed), designed to train your body and mind to swing the club faster with your regular swing.

Each session includes warmup, training, and measurement by radr of your clubhead speed as well as your max speeds with each of the SuperSpeed sticks.

Level 1 Protocol (5 weeks)

Class 1 – Saturdays, November 17, 24, December 1, 8, 15, 29

Class 2 – Saturdays, January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9

Class 3 – Saturdays, February 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23

Time: 4:00pm (45 minutes long)

Cost: OAC Golf Member – $125+HST / Non-Member – $175+HST

SpeedSticks will be lent to everyone in the class to use for the duration of the program.  The program is open to men, women, and juniors.  Open to first SIX registrants per class.

Level 2 Protocol (12 weeks)

Level 2 Protocol builds upon the gains made during Protocol 1.  It is a 12-week program, and adds new elements to training.  It is open to those who have completed the Level 1 Protocol.

When:  TBD (dependent on group preference. Classes will be Saturdays)

Cost: OAC Golf Member – $350+HST / Non-Member – $400+HST

Included in the price of this protocol is the purchase of a set of SuperSpeed Sticks, which can be used for Protocol 2, as well as future Protocols (3, 4, 5).  Each participant will also get 2 private, 15 minute lessons with the professional after the sessions on how to optimize their driver!
